₿ Pay with BitcoinWhy Lightning Enable?
You could run your own Lightning node, manage Docker containers, and implement L402 from scratch. Or you could ship this week.
Zero Infrastructure
No Lightning node. No Docker. No protocol expertise. Bring a Strike or OpenNode API key — we handle invoices, macaroons, preimage verification, and settlement. You write your app.
Dual Protocol: L402 + MPP
The only platform supporting both L402 (macaroon + preimage) and Machine Payments Protocol out of the box. Your APIs work with any agent — regardless of which payment standard they use.
Agent Discovery Built In
Your APIs are automatically listed across multiple discovery channels: the Agent Commerce Store (21 live APIs, 1–10 sats/call), NostrWolfe (agent relay with encrypted negotiation, reputation attestations, and 24 live services across 8 categories), and the L402 Registry.
Flat Pricing, No Revenue Share
$99–$299/mo flat. Zero per-transaction fees from us. Payments settle directly to YOUR provider account. We never touch your funds, control keys, or take a cut. You keep 100% of what agents pay.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need a Strike or OpenNode account?
Lightning Enable is API middleware that connects your platform to a payment provider (Strike or OpenNode) for payment processing. Your provider is a payment infrastructure provider that facilitates Bitcoin custody, settlement, and (optionally) conversion to fiat. Think of Lightning Enable as the integration layer between your application and your provider's infrastructure.
Which provider should I choose?
Strike (recommended) supports preimage extraction for L402 and is ready to use immediately with no KYB required to start. OpenNode supports automatic fiat conversion and bank settlements, but requires KYB verification (2-4 business days) for production. Check each provider's current fee schedule for details.
What are the total fees?
Lightning Enable charges a flat monthly subscription ($99-$299/mo) with NO per-transaction fees from us. Your payment provider may charge their own processing fees — check your provider's current fee schedule for details.
Can I start testing immediately?
Yes! With Strike, generate an API key and start accepting real payments immediately. With OpenNode, use their testnet (development) environment right away — no KYB required. OpenNode mainnet requires KYB approval, but you can build and test while waiting.
What is Lightning Enable's role in payment processing?
Lightning Enable is API middleware that connects your platform to Strike or OpenNode. We don't hold or control funds. Your chosen provider is a payment infrastructure provider that facilitates custody, settlement, and compliance. Consult with legal counsel regarding your specific regulatory obligations.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Your Lightning Enable API key will be deactivated at the end of your billing period. Any funds in your provider account remain yours — we never touch them. You can resubscribe at any time to reactivate your integration.
What's the difference between the plans?
Both plans include the full platform — L402, MPP, REST API, MCP tools, dashboard, discovery listings, and platform integrations. Individual ($99/mo) is for solo developers and indie hackers who are comfortable self-onboarding with our docs. Business ($299/mo) adds white-glove onboarding, direct founder access, and priority support — ideal for teams integrating Lightning payments into a product.
Do you support refunds?
Yes, Lightning Enable supports refund processing through both providers. With OpenNode, native refunds are supported. With Strike, refunds are processed as new outgoing payments. Refund capability depends on your provider account having sufficient balance.
